I really need a miracle and I know miracles happen! I am Praying that God will touch someone out there to help me.and am also praying for all of our needs to be met. Hello everyone, I have never done this before, but I don't know what else to do. I am a single mom with three boys. I work as a waitress. I have a grand prix with a trasmission that went out. In march I took all the extra money I had, and had a rebuilt one put in it. Two weeks ago that went out. I took it back to the transmission shop and they said that my warrenty was up, but they would fix it this one time. I was happy with that, but it broke down again the other day. Now I am without a car to go to work and I have three boys. They are 5-3-2years old. The transmission shop said they are not responsible. So I just called another shop and they said 1600.00 to fix it. If anyone has any ideas please tell me. I dont know what else to do. I would even pay a loan back in small payment if nesscery. I have no family to help, they disowned me 6 1/2 years ago because of my kids. It was a cultral belief. So if anyone can help me out I will appricate it.   

I am a single mom of 3 children, my boys are 16 and 7 and my daughter is 11.  I got out of an abusive marriage and am back in school to make a better future for my children and myself.  My goal is to graduate in December of 2010 with a degree in Chemical Dependency.  I am having trouble with my car and it is my only means of transportation for myself and my kids.  My boys are active in sports and my daughter dances and loves to perform in the theater.  I have an exhaust leak that I could only imagine isn't healthy for them not to mention the environment and a radiator leak.  I am looking for help in getting these fixed. 

I bought a car in February 2010.  It had a 30 day warranty or 1000 miles.  Before i made the first payment.  My car wouldn't crank.  They told me I had already used the 1000 miles.  So they towed the car from my home.  They charged me $30 to put water in the battery and a 50.00 towing fee. I thought that was unfair not having even made the first payment yet.  I then told them I smelled anti freeze coming from the vent.  They said nothing was wrong.  Anti freeze must have spilled when they put it in the car. I also told them it was making a skipping sound and they assured me the car was fine.  Well a month later my car wouldn't start.  I had another mechanic checked it out and it was the alternator.  I had to replace that. The following month and a half my key would not turn over in the ignition.  I had to get a lock smith out to help fix that. not even a week later. I was on my way home pulled off the road to find my cell phone and the car would not crank. My friend and her Dad ended up taking me to Walmart to get a new battery.  The car cranked.  I was relieved.  Two days later The car stopped on me on a deserted road on a saturday night.  There was no way to make contact with the dealer.  They have no emergency number and is closed on the weekends. Out of fear and deparation, I had them take the vehicle to a mechanic shop.  They informed me that the timimg belt was broken.  I agreed to fix it.  While fixing the mechanic informed me that the valves were bent and it would be more expensive to repair the car.  I finally called them and told them to pick up the car and where it was located.  Thet called me back and asked me to take care of the repair bill first then they would pick it up.  I could not afford it at this point.  i told them to go pick it up.  I have not spoken to them again as of yet and not sure about how to get this resolved.  I put $1824 Down of the car.  made 3 payments of 295.00 and $169.00 monthly for insurance. I have three children and a job and no transportation. I have no more money to get a new car or pay for any more repairs. I was sold a lemon and need help.

I purchased a car (97 Cadillac Seville 4 dr.,4.6 engine) in July 2008 for my son to get to work from Al Serra dealership in Flint, MI.   One month later, the tire blew out,(had to buy 2 new tires) and 3 months later, the car broke down, overheating, we were told that it needed new heads. Found out, I had purchased a lemon car, bought AS-IS and the dealership would not refinance me another car. So, I purchased a head gasket kit and other parts, had a friend mechanic do the repairs. (Did repairs because I could not afford a motor at the time) Was finally done with repairs in December 2008, then about 4 months later, I was told there is a 4" crack in the block. I did not have the money for the repairs the first time, and cannot afford to repair a second time. (Had to max out a credit card and come up with cash for first repairs) This car needs a new motor which will cost about 00.  It is now 1 1/2 years later that I had bought the car, I still owe 00 on it, and it has only ran for about 7 months out of the months since I have purchased the car. I need help.  My son does not have any extra money, he works, but does not make much, has a baby, has to pay child support, he has to find rides to get to work.  I am a single mom, working as a waitress, I have my own car payment and many bills myself.  I am stuck paying on this vehicle for almost another year!. I am going broke paying on this car loan. I dont know what to do with this car, I am paying on a vehicle that is just sitting in a driveway and will never run again because I cannot fix it. Desperately seeking suggestions or any help that you can offer.

My car recently broke down and I had to use my rent money for repairs.  I'm $550.00 behind in my rent and I need help before things get out of control.  I have tried charities but you have to have an evicition notice.  It would be great to get help before I am out on the streets.  With the car repairs and the high heating and electrical costs (which I'm behind in) it is hard to dig out of a mess.  Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

I'm a single mom of two boys (17 & 12), and work in the construction industry.  The last two months have been slow due to weather and the economy.  The only thing I've been able to pay is my rent, and my car needs major repairs, it's our only form of transportation.  I don't know how much longer it will hold out.  If anybody is willing to help out, we would be so grateful.  Wish I didn't have to even try this, but no other options at this point.  Thank  you and God bless.

Please help. I am a 32 Year Old Single Father of 2 beautiful girls. I work 55+ hours a week, but just can not seem to be able to keep caught up. I am $887.00 behind on my car, and the clutch just went out. That is another $583.00. This is my only way to work and I have got to work to be able to support my girls. Christmas is coming up and things just do not appear to be going good.

 I took all the money I could save for the last several months.  and part of a loan I should not have.  and Bought a Mini van because i have been told i have to move out of my  current house in 2  weeks.  so had to have something to drive.  well i got it home.  because a friend put it on His  insurance.  well right off I had to buy a battery. 92.00  then I got hit withthe window motor is broken. and now its Leaking oil from under neath. I was going to get a computer for school now I cant.  Iam not sure what this latest  is going to cost.  but the Insurance for the next 3 months is 200.00  and the repair bills already are near 100.00.  if anyone can Help me.  I would be forever greatful

Hi I am a 28 year old single mother of a two years old little girl. I recently split up with my Boyfriend who was the bread winner. I am now staying with my parents, because my car broke down with a blown headgasket so I can't look for work. I am currently waiting for my SSI and SSDI hearings but that seems to take forever so I must try to work .I tend to my parents horses(basicly barter) because i can't pay the $400.00 rent they want. I don't know how long this will last. I have Autoimmune Hypoparathyroidism and Factor five leiden mutation disorder  and without having a car i can't make my doctors appointments because I live 50 miles form the hospital my docotrs are located. I really need my car fixed so I can find a job, a place of my own for my daughter and i, and be able to attend my doctors appointments. I have to say this is the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with. I guess it will make me stronger in the long run. Thanks you all for your time. God Bless!!!! 

I'm 54 living  in California most my life.  Married a wonderful guy and raised 3 children together. He got sick and we lost him about 4 years ago. I have worked some but mainly fully depended on my husband for support. Since we no longer have this great man in our lives, I've worked here and there and I am able to work but with enconomy these days it's been very hard to find a job of my knowledge. But, I am a fast learner, but my problem is my appearance smiling. I am loosing teeth like crazy and it has put a very bad toll on me. I don't want to go any where because of this looks really bad when ever I open my mouth. I've always been a very activity person and going places with the kids and now that I have this problem I just don't want to do anything or go any where with my grandbabies. Getting a job it seems like I am not going to be able to show the better happy go side of me. I am not receiving any type of income at this moment and have a mouth of pain. I am very scared of dentists and need to find someone who will help me put my trust in them. And not to mention the cost for repairs. I am a proud person but since I am so down and low I am having to put my pride to the side and see what it is I can do to make myself more confident. I am a single mom of two (12 y/o boy and 15 y/o girl) and a military veteran. I somehow fall through all the cracks of assistance of any kind. I got laid off in January. I don't have money and live with my mother which isn't a good situation and I can't even help with the house expenses and we fight all the time. I am very behind in my bills but one of my big concerns is I need to have my car worked on and it'll be $800 to get it fixed. That is my only means of transportaation and I need to drive around to find work at different distances, sometimes as far as an hour away, from home which is a very small town. If I don't have a car I can't go to interviews or work and then the circle begins. If anyone knows where I can get help, even with credit that's shot, please let me know. I have never been in this position before and I figured it was time to swallow my pride and see if there is help out there for me. we flew to tenn. to see my dying dad.he gave me my inheritance in the form of a van. told us that we would have no problems driving it back to Wa. state. we tried to drive to Fla. to help my sister with her landscaping businesss but our trany went out in Georgia.we did make it to Fla.been here 2 yrs this mth. the lord guides us in mysterious ways. we have replaced the computer box,starter, bought 11 tires, the front brakes. the a.c is going, the inside lites &fan dont work. needs rear brakes, shocks,etc .We work. my husband is dying, he was supposed to be back in Wa last yr 4 medical attention.He wont leave without me.He is a 20 yr carpenter with references.We would like work here n Fla. &across the country 2 get back 2 Wa. state to take care of medical problems and 2 be with our children and grands. I am writing a book about the homeless situation and how hard it is to ask 4 help when u r dying. I try 2 get shutins out into the world.I was once 1.Thanks 2 God & my husband I can now deal with asking 4 help. Please hep us get home. Either with work or a donation.We have good refs.God bless u
